Pattern alignment in Song window

Want to check what I think is the P2 behaviour.

If have a 4/4 song and input a bar of 2, do the patterns that are input after that retain their alignment to the song bar and therefore start halfway thro the pattern if they are 4/4 and set to start on beat 3?

Is there a way of realigning them so that I don’t have to make a new set of patterns in that orientation?

I think what you are looking for is the “RESET ROTATION” button when you have a block selected in the TIMELINE. That will make it so the loop resets when triggered in the timeline. See page 25 of the user manual https://www.olympianoiseco.com/manuals/Patterning_2.pdf
