Sending Midi to sequence external hardware or drum rack

Hello !

Is it possible to sequence external hardware (drum machines) or ableton drum rack with patterning sending midi? In real time?

Yes, it certainly is. Patterning has independent MIDI outputs for each track. Each can send on it’s own port, channel, and note. You can also sequence the notes for melodic MIDI sequencing.
